The longer story:

I moved to Charleston in 2011 and soon after began my freelance writing business. Over time, I started working with more and more attorneys and found I loved learning about the law as well as taking complex ideas and making them easier to understand for a lay audience.

Since moving here I also began writing for the stage. As a playwright, works of mine have been produced in South Carolina and other states, including a full-length play at South of Broadway Theatre Company in North Charleston in January 2015.

Before Charleston, I lived in New York City where I studied psychology in the postbaccalaureate program and worked as the lab manager of the Primate Cognition Lab at Columbia University. I also hold B.Mus from Washington University in St. Louis and I studied pastry at the Ritz Escoffier in Paris, after which I became a pastry chef in Seattle for a time.

Now you’ve heard my story – I look forward to hearing yours. Get in touch and tell me all about you.
